Weightlifting and calisthenics are two of the most effective ways to stress the musclesof the lower body. These exercises use heavy weights designed to develop specific strength, speed and power in the limbs and torso. The strength that is developed in the deadlift and shoulder press can be used to strengthen the arms, legs and calves, bulking with calisthenics. The legs are also trained for stability in the squat and deadlift. This program is designed to take a basic strength training program (such as those found in Strength Level I or II in the Strength Training Institute) and turn it into a full-body workout, bulking youtube.
